A Bit About Classic Piano Works
Classic Piano Works is owned and operated by Glenn Doyle, RPT — a Registered Piano Technician, retired music educator, and professional musician.
Glenn is a certified graduate (High Honors) of the Randy Potter School of Piano Technology, and apprenticed under James Geiger, one of America’s foremost piano technicians and a Piano Technicians Guild Hall of Fame inductee.
He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Baylor University and has completed graduate studies at Vandercook College of Music in Chicago.

Musical Background
As a classically trained musician, recording artist, and educator, Glenn has performed in some of the nation’s most prestigious venues — including Carnegie Hall (NYC), The Academy of Music (Philadelphia), and The Meyerson Center (Dallas).
These experiences give him a unique perspective on piano tone, resonance, and performance — allowing him to help each client’s piano reach its fullest musical potential.
What Is a Registered Piano Technician?
According to the Piano Technicians Guild:
“RPTs are professionals who have committed themselves to the continual pursuit of excellence, both in technical service and ethical conduct. The Piano Technicians Guild grants the Registered Piano Technician (RPT) credential after a series of rigorous examinations that test skill in piano tuning, regulation, and repair. Those capable of performing these tasks up to a recognized worldwide standard receive the RPT credential.”
